A Christian outreach called "Ride to Vietnam", sends 1,000 pastors to 1,000 churches in Vietnam, delivering small motorbikes for Vietnamese pastors for use in their travels to various villages.

Reverend Don Mundy of Tyler United Methodist Church in Chillicothe is making his third visit to Vietnam. The first was as a combat Marine in 1967, but he says his next two have been as a "soldier for Christ".

Pastor Mundy says the Vietnamese people are very receptive to the Gospel message.

Munday believes it is God who sent him back to Vietnam, and said he is humbled by those who have contributed funds to sending him.

The 5th Ride to Vietnam, held April 22nd through May 2nd, is a project of the Shawnee Valley District of the United Methodist Church.
