Area children are either back in school now, or will be soon.
The Fayette County Health Department is still ready to get your child immunized for school. Jeannie Bihl, Nurse and Health Educator with the Health Department says shots are required for those entering kindergarten. 7th graders also need meningitis shots and TDAP shots, then will take it again in their senior year of school.
Bihl also has some advice about the dreaded head-lice. Kids should NOT share other children's hats, helmets or hair brushes.
