Ernie Blankenship Radio-Telethon Sees Format Change Due to Pandemic

The 48th Annual Ernie Blankenship Radio-Telethon for Highland County Society for Children and Adults, will be a virtual event, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Instead of the live broadcast being open to community members coming in to the event for pledge interviews, the event will be done online, while still being broadcast on radio and cable television and also on the society website and Facebook pages.

The radio-telethon is hosted by First State Bank and sponsored by the Hillsboro and Greenfield Rotary Clubs. It will be Wednesday, June 24th, between 7pm-9pm. Locally, the broadcast can be heard on WSRW 101.5FM/1590AM, Spectrum Community Cable Access Channels, along with on www.hicoso.org and on Facebook.

Donations can be made in several different ways. You can make a donation at the First State Bank drive-thru, call in your pledge to (937) 402-5557 and (937) 981-7731 or mail a check to HCSCA P.O.Box 258 Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
