Crash Ends High Speed Chase That Started in WCH

Washington Court House Police were involved in a high speed chase that went from their city to Sabina Ohio, Tuesday.

A local woman says she allowed Joey L. Woody and Desiree Coonrod to use her vehicle, with the expectation they would return it at a certain time. The vehicle was never returned.

Washington CH Police located the vehicle in the Walmart parking lot where they attempted to make a traffic stop as the car was leaving. The vehicle fled the scene, leading police to pursue them to Sabina, where the pursuit ended with the vehicle crashing.

Police arrested Woody on a charge of Failure to Comply to the Order of a Law Enforcement Officer and Driving Without a License. Coonrod was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Illegal Drugs.
