A Pickaway County man is behind bars after a domestic dispute turned into a standoff, Sunday.
Sheriff's deputies say 56-year-old Homer Park savagely beat his wife, 52-year-old Evelyn Park at a home on Strawser Street in Scioto Township of Pickaway County, then barricaded himself and the victim inside for several hours.
Deputies were able to enter the residence when Mr. Park was in a different area of the residence and took him into custody. They found Mrs. Park in a bedroom with serious injuries.
She was taken to Grant Medical Center with serious injuries. Homer Park is facing charges of kidnapping and felonious assault.
