SVC Co-Champ Unioto saw their postseason end Saturday in a 54-51 setback to Washington CH. The Lady Sherman’s had two first half leads of 10 points, which were overcome by the Lady Blue Lions.
WCH shot 20/49 from the field for 41%- including 4/9 from the arc. Unioto was 17/42 for 40%- including 9/13 from the arc. Both teams shot poorly in the final period with WCH at 29% and Unioto at 14%.
WCH was 10/16 at the foul line, while Unioto was 8/16.
Unioto was hurt by 17 turnovers as well, while Washington had 9.
Hannah Haithcock led the Lady Lions with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Breanna Taylor and Halli Hall each added 9 points a piece. Emily Coleman had 15 for Unioto- 14 in the first half. Amber Cottrill scored 9, while Jocie Fisher had 7.
(21-3) Washington CH advances to D2 District Semi at Southeastern HS as Unioto ends their season at (19-5).
