A 25-year-old man has been charged with Abduction, after a Friday incident in Ross County. Corey M. Pritt was apprehended and the 5-year-old child he took was found safe in Pike County.
Ross County Sheriff Deputies were called to investigate a complaint that Pritt assaulted the mother of his child at a Pleasant Valley residence, then took off with the child.
Authorities finally caught up with Pritt after a search that lasted a few hours and involved sending out an Amber Alert.
