No “cardiac kids” story for Chillicothe Friday in Greenfield, as the Cavs scored on every offensive possession except one to rout the Tigers 63-7.

Chillicothe responded with drives of 46, 48, and 46 yards in the first quarter to lead 20-7 after a quarter. J’Quan Harris scored two of the touchdowns on runs of one and 26 yards. McKellan Lee notched the other early score on a 15 yard scamper up the middle.

Harris only played the first half and gained 154 yards in 9 carries to go with 2 scores. The Cavs continued to roll in the second quarter with a Harris interception and a Patrick Rourke blocked punt setting up two short touchdown drives. Adrian Beverly, Joey Wright, and freshman Jaiden Cain all ran in scores in quarter two to give Chillicothe a 41-7 halftime lead.Wright added a second TD run and Desmon Lewis added a 22 yard pick six in the third period. Cade Williams added the Cavs final TD as a running clock and mostly backups played the second half.

Chillicothe ran for 384 yards and passed for48 in rolling up 432 offensive yards. The defense shutdown McClain after Mischal’s run and produced three turnovers.

The victory ends the season’s road games as the Cavaliers return home for their final three games and currently stand (6-1) and (2-0) in FAC play.
