Chillicothe Overwhelms Blue Lions 93-33

The Chillicothe Cavaliers certainly out-manned a young and struggling Washington Court House squad, but when you added the Cavs determined response to a disappointing loss on Monday, you get a dominating 60 point win.

.

The Cavs exploded to a 28-5 first quarter lead by knocking down 12 of 14 shots in the first eight minutes. Chillicothe shared the ball and dazzled the crowd with great passes and four first half dunks.

.

The Blue Lions started only one senior and played three freshmen in the game due to several players leaving the team plus injuries. Washington CH had 19 turnovers on the night which led to many Cavalier transition layups.

.

Tre Beard hit 5 threes in tallying 17 and Jayvon Maughmer added 14 points. Vinnie Roper had 13 and Courtland Duncan was nearly the fifth Cav in double figures with 9 off the bench.

.

.

It was a hot night for Chillicothe as they were 37 of 55 for 67%, and 12 of 19 on threes for a scintillating 63%. Maybe the most amazing stat were the 27 assists credited Chillicothe.

The. Blue Lions hit on 12 of 35 shots for 34% and were just 1 of 5 on three point attempts.

.

The Cavaliers have a big match up with a division one Central District opponent Saturday night as Upper Arlington visits Hatton Gymnasium. Chillicothe is now (13-2) and (7-0) in FAC play.
