Harvest Prep Proves #2 State Ranking in Win Over Adena

The Warriors of World Harvest Prep wasted no time showing why they are the number 2 ranked team in Ohio, breezing past the Adena Warriors 79-38 in the Division 3 Regional Semis.

Harvest Prep led 24-11 after the first quarter, 50-22 at halftime, then extended their lead to activate the continuous clock with a 69-30 advantage after three quarters and 79-38 for the final.

Adena senior Zach Fout played well in his final game, scoring a game-high 21 points. No other Adena player was in double figures.

Harvest Prep had three men in double figures, led by Christopher Anthony’s 19 points, 16 from Raymond Robertson and 11 from Elijah Green.

HP shot 33/55 for 60% from the field- including 11/25 from behind the arc. Adena was 15/44 for only 34%- including 2/15 from the arc. Prep flexed their rebounding muscle over Adena with a 37-16 edge.

Adena ends their season at (19-7), completely turning their program around from a (6-16) season last year.

(25-2) Harvest Prep faces (26-0) Wheelersburg Saturday in the final after the Pirates rallied to beat Sandy Valley 51-48. HP is ranked #2 and Burg is #3.
