Hillsboro Mayor Drew Hastings has appointed a new Police Chief.
Lt. Darrin Goudy has been hired to that position after 24 years of law enforcement experience, which include serving as an officer with the City of Union Police Department for the past 17 years, with the last 14 years as lieutenant.
He and his wife, Molly, have five children ranging in age from 13 to 28, two grandchildren and they look forward to making Hillsboro their home.
Goudy's appointment is effective December 4, 2017.
