A Hillsboro man has been arrested after assaulting a person inside the victim's home.
Hillsboro Police Department responded to a residence in the 300 block of Johnson Street where upon arrival, it was found that a male subject had entered a home and assaulted the home owner. The suspect had left the scene prior to officers’ arrival and was later found hiding inside a neighbor’s shed.
33-year-old James R. Willey was arrested for Assault, Burglary, Obstructing and Resisting arrest. Willey was transported to the Highland County Jail.
