The nation will celebrate Flag Day Friday, June 14th and the VFW Post 9094 in Hillsboro is offering the community an opportunity to have any old American Flags they own to be retired properly.

The VFW will hold its Flag Retirement Ceremony at 6pm on Friday at the post, located at 1000 West Main Street in Hillsboro.

Additionally, flags to be retired during this ceremony can also be dropped off at the Highland County Senior Center by this Friday.
