A career night for Hillsboro's Ryan Scott was a key to the Indians getting a 73-30 FAC win over the visiting Washington Blue Lions Friday night.

Scott scorched the nets for 31 points (including 14 in the first quarter). With Scott setting the tone, HHS raced to a 20-5 lead after the first period. By the end of the second stanza, Hillsboro had stretched the lead to 37-16 at the halftime break. Despite the big lead, the Indians came out and outscored the Blue Lions 25-5 in quarter number three to completely put the game away.

Caleb Crawford also hit double figures for the Indians with 12 points.

With the victory, HHS improves to (5-6) overall and (2-5) in FAC play. Finally, For Scott's great night, he was quickly awarded appropriate recognition as the "player of the game."

Hillsboro, only playing two games in the first seventeen days in January, will now have to make some quick turnarounds with several games upcoming (including a game on Saturday afternoon versus Ripley). They will also travel to Goshen Tuesday night to take on the Warriors (a game that will be broadcast on WSRW).
