The demolition of the Parker Hotel in Hillsboro is being put on hold due to some unforeseen circumstances.

The demo is being delayed due to an issue with the party wall. That's a partition between two adjoining structures. The work has the 100 block of West Main in Hillsboro currently closed to traffic. ODOT says that portion of West Main Street will remain closed for now.

The duration is currently unknown, but the city says the demo will resume as soon as possible.
