Hillsboro City Safety & Service Director Brianne Abbott says Hillsboro is not exempt to the budget crisis that comes along with the Coronavirus.
In a letter to the public, she stated that revenues will be affected and they have cut all unessential spending and overtime. Hillsboro Council and the administration will continue to visit the budget regularly to ensure they are on track throughout these unanticipated times.
Hillsboro City Council will meet April 13th, via ZOOM and the meeting ID number will be published for citizens interested in attending. All City events will be cancelled or postponed until stay at home order is lifted. All City playgrounds, restrooms and yard waste site will be closed until further notice.
