Some of the Washington CH School staff have been busy assembling protective face shields to keep healthcare workers safe against the Coronavirus.
Washington Middle School Art Teacher Tami Rose and WCH School Maintenance Department worker Lee Hopkins, began firing up their 3D printers on April 3rd to produce headbands to help The Southern Ohio Medical Organizations stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last week, Washington Middle School printed and delivered their first 40 headbands to help fight COVID-19 to the Southern Ohio Makers Against COVID Coalition (SOMACC). These parts will be used to assemble face shields for healthcare workers on the front-lines of the pandemic response.
They are hoping to donate over 100 masks this week.
