Hillsboro Festival Of The Bells Cancelled for 2020

Another summer festival/fair event in the area has been cancelled, due to concerns created due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This time, it is the Hillsboro Festival Of The Bells, which this summer was slated for July 2nd-4th.

The Festival Of The Bells Committee stated "The COVID-19 pandemic has brought restrictions that would not allow us to have a safe and healthy experience at the Festival. Protecting people in our community and visitors to our community during the festival is our top priority".

The committee stated that are already planning and looking forward to the Festival Of The Bells returning in 2021. The annual event is held on the campus of Southern State Community College, on the north side of Hillsboro. The festival is well-known for bringing in some of the top up-and-coming country and gospel music acts, in the nation.

Last week, the Ohio State Fair was cancelled for the first time since World War 2, and the Vinton County Fair announced that they are cancelling this summer's event.
