The impact that COVID-19 has had on the world, has probably hit senior citizens and any organizations affiliated with them, harder than other age demographic.
Mechell Frost of the Highland County Senior Citizens Center says while they remain closed to congregate gatherings at the center, they still offer their home delivered meals.
Frost says the state has allowed senior centers to reopen, but the small staff at Highland Senior Center, doesn't allow them to safely reopen to events inside the center.
