The Chillicothe Post 757 Colts split Friday's pool games in the 10th Annual Jim Jadwin Memorial American Legion Baseball tournament.
In Game 1, Post 757 defeated Waverly, 7-4. Starter Kody Haubeil threw the complete game in the win over Waverly, striking out 3 and giving up 4 earned runs.
In Game 2, Post 757 lost to Yeager Benson Post, 7-2. Starter Luke Perigo suffered the loss, giving up 4 ER in 4.2 IP. Reliever Jacob Lenox threw 1.1 innings and gave up no runs.
The Post 757 Colts are back in action 12:30 today (Saturday) where they will square off with Meigs Post 39 at Mt Logan Field. Game 2 will be at Ross County ballpark as Post 757 take on the Central OH Knights legion team at 5:30 pm.
The top 4 teams in the Jim Jadwin Memorial will move on to the championship Sunday at VA Memorial Stadium with games starting at 10 am.
