Officials with the Ross County Sheriff's Office say they responded to a burglary in progress at 7549 State Route 28 near Lattaville at around 8 pm Monday.
Authorities say they found the house on fire and firefighters found a body inside.
Officials say the body has been sent to the Ross County Coroner's Office for identification and an autopsy, while the State Fire Marshal's Office has become involved in the investigation.
