A barn painter will return to the Pump House Center for the Arts in 2024, and has an online charity auction and books to sell in the meantime. Kevin Coleman spoke with him when he visited April 7th and spoke on round barns of America.
Robert Kroeger had a show and live painting demonstration in 2021, and says he plans to do the same in 2024: he is scheduled to show his paintings in November next year, and may give another talk and book signing in April or May of 2024.
In the meantime, Kroeger has an online auction that in part benefits Chillicothe's art gallery. He says about 70 paintings from 32 states in his recent book "Round Barns of America" are for sale at "BiddingOwl.com" for the month of May. The charity auction event will raise funds for ten nonprofits across Ohio, including the Pump House. (It's listed under the Hocking County Historical Society.)
You can also contact Kroeger through the Pump House if want a painting of your old barn.
