Don’t ever take them for granted

I spent this past weekend traveling several hours to say goodbye to a family member I was crazy about. Uncle Dennis was the kind of person I wish we could all be. He had the ability to make you feel like everything you said meant something. He listened a lot more than he talked and he laughed a lot more than he cried. I hate that I’ll never get to tell him just how much he meant to me but, once again, he’s taught me a lesson…don’t wait til it’s too late. And I won’t, ever again.
